King & Queen of Spain, remembered for financing Columbus' voyage leading to discovery of America. Pairing of: three-page manuscript DS "Yo el Rey," [I the King], 8.25x12, Jan 1515 in Old Spanish, untranslated, with additional docket page 7.5x8 PLUS three-page manuscript DS "Yo La Reyna." [I the Queen], 8x11.5, Jan 15 1501 in Old Spanish, ordering the queen's chamberlain, Sancho de Paredes, to pay an engraver for crosses supplied to the queen, listing description of each cross' size, shape & whether or not they were jeweled or gilded, countersigned by Gaspar de Trizio, the queen's secretary & the engraver, who has added his receipt, splits, minor soiling, very nice condition given the documents' six hundred years of age, fantastic historic archive, valued addition to any collection
