Pasteur" in pencil in lower white border, Pasteur adding in his own hand "Bon comme ton", in French, approving the tone of the engraving, 10x13, powerful, striking image of Pasteur including an attractive, elegant decorative border created by Louis Pierre Henriquel-Dupont in 1884, minor light foxing in blank white border mentioned only for accuracy, attractively priced, Pasteur lists in Sanders over $3,100 in signed portraits.
